The last week or so has seemed to fly by. From a "how sore am I" standpoint, I got a lot done, but to look at the boat, well ...
I got fiberglass tape epoxyed on both chines from stem to stern. This seemed to go pretty well, although I have a few bubbles in one side that I will have to address. Seems to have bonded very nicely and is really on there. Makes me feel better about the strength of things when something really latches hold like that.
Then I got down to the keel. Got several more sections of outer keel on and the through bolts at the stern installed. Found that I had started too far from the stern (don't know how I got that measurement wrong) which required a small filler piece, but no big deal. The bottom two layers have 3/8x6" galvanized bolts run through from the outer keel through to the interior, holding the outer to the inner keel. Got those in place and another layer of outer keel over them.
Now it's just a matter of stacking "Lego style" more pieces of keel on until its the right size and shape.
