Onward!

Finished putting the second hull layer on! I know it looks really rough there, but that has all the skin panels on and in place.

Now for lots of trimming (you can tell several of those panels at the bow are hanging over the edge a lot), patching screw holes, fairing, etc. I'm sure it will all take longer than I expect, but it's another milestone. You know, with a big enough bilge pump, I bet it would float right now.

There are various small gaps, holes, etc., but no major panels missing. Getting more and more boatlike. After that it's time to start on the keel. That's another section that will get repetitive I'm sure, since its built up from about 9 layers of 1x2, but it should be straightforward.

You can take that as a pun if you wish, but getting the keel aligned straight and forward with the boat will probably be the hardest and most persnickety aspect.

Onward!
