Raymarine’s New G Series Debuts

Raymarine debuted its new G-Series navigation systems at the show. The company says this evolution from the C and E-Series is a suitable networked system for larger boats. The system includes a new processor, the GPM400, which is said to be 10 times faster than the C and E-series processors (one complaint about the E Series was sluggish redraw rates). The new system is also much more video friendly, with nine video inputs, including three VGA, two DVO, three composite and one S-Video. The displays range from 12-inch to 19-inch. The network is a 100-megabit version of Raymarine's Seatalk technology, with connectivity to NMEA 2000 compatible engines and trim tab systems.

You can read more about NavNet3D on the Panbo and HardWired blogs or read Raymarine's Manuals.
