Help! I'm on Flir!!!!

Can you see the face behind the camera? Can you see the camera? Can you see the face behind the camera? Can you see the camera?

I know it's kinda hard to make out, but that white blob is what I look like on a FLIR thermal-imaging camera. The dark thingies are my fingers, holding the camera. See how dark those fingers are? This is a reflection of how cold it is here today, at the Annapolis Boat Show.

Day one broke 85-degrees, and today, it's barely pushing 60. Anyway, those fingers are dark because my hands are FREEZING cold right now, and this fact is reflected by the Flir. But seeing myself on Flir is even cooler than the weather; this camera (a mere $8,000) can see in the dark, through the fog, whatever.

If something has a heat signature (and just about everything does) the Flir can see it. Add in the Furuno monitor in this shot, and you're looking at a $14,000 package. An expensive goodie for your boat, no doubt, but if you want to impress everyone from bikini babes to bar flies, this little number will do the trick!
