The Big Kahuna portable shower is for boats without water or washdown systems, or for people who want to add portability.

The unit is powered by a 360 gallon-per-hour Rule pump inside that runs on 12-volt DC power. It consists of a six-gallon watertight drum with lid, a coiled hose and a variable-speed nozzle. A 13-gallon version is also available.Everything is made in the U.S.

Of course, there are many ways to simulate something like this, but the Big Kahuna is a nice package for $94.95, with smart touches like molded-in handles, tie downs and a clip to  mount the mozzle. Practical Sailor loved it.

We have not tested it. But the owner of the company says more than 1,500 units have been sold in the last for years, and he's never had a sinlge request for a return.
