I usually don't care much for Daylight Savings Time... I want them to just leave things well enough alone. Well, now I wish I had more of it. With my work hours and the current penchance for darkness about 6:30 pm, I don't really have a chance to work on the boat in the evenings.
I had really hoped to have the cabin closed in a bit better by now, so that I could do interior work more often in the evenings, since worklights are more practical (not to mention it will be getting cold soon). So far, i haven't made it, althought I still have hopes.
I do have the front and rear decks in place now, and pretty well sealed. The other day it rained and the front scuttles worked nicely, draining the water overboard instead of dumping it in the cabin.
I have pretty much figured out the rubberized bedliner material that I'm going to finish these decks off with. I've got to get it ordered, then applied. This is another "out of order" type thing, again being driven by building mostly outside and needing to get things sealed up.
I more fully understand the designers emphasis on finding a shed/place to build. He's done it this way before and experienced the problems. Guess I'm one of those slow learners that just have to find out the hard way myself.
