So who is the captain who won this week's Docking Game contest?
Ken Worthing is a 34-year-old network administrator from Seattle, who sails 24- to 36-foot club sailboats – mainly J-Boats – and works with the non-profit Sailing Heritage Society, where he helps get the organization's 65-foot schooner out on the water several times a month.
Does he have any tips on the game?
"When the winds and current pick up, don't slow down so much that you lose steerage," he wrote in an email. "Pull into that slip with conviction! But then again, don't go too fast or you will lose control. Controlled bursts of speed are the key." Â
