Boatbuilding Blog & Vessels connection

Really like the boatbuilding blog. I read it first and wondered what boat was being built. Later, I discovered the answer in Vessels. It would be nice to have a reference in the blog to the vessels article. BTW, I'm very faniliar with the V39, One of my friends built one in the mountains near Hickory, NC and did a major east coast cruise. If the snaller version is anything like her big sister, it will be an excellent boat.

Good idea... we do need to link back to the main article.

I probably also need to do a small "what I'm building" blurb in the blog just so people can find it.

Assuming we're talking the same name in North Carolina (I can't believe there were two :-), I just exchanged email with him a couple of times yesterday. His build log/blog is one of the reasons I chose the V28.

I'll get the blog tuned up and the story linked.

This is a really good point...

Brad Endicott, I think was his name. We met up with him and his wife when they passed through the C&D Canal. I did an article of them and "Leah Gent". Great boat!

His boat is now being used by another couple who recently started the loop:

They have a nice blog here: http://web.mac.com/warob02/iWeb/Pepi%27s%20Ports%20of%20Call/Pepi%27s%20...

Hey Bruce! I've been reading the new Pepi Blog (old Leah Gent). I noticed the last time I signed on Pepi is for sale??? Any idea what happened?

After just a couple of months, they found that they like the live-aboard lifestyle enough to want a bigger boat :-) They seem to be really enjoying things, but wanted some more space.

They have ordered the first  Island Pilot DSe hull (http://www.dsehybrid.com/html/dse_hybrid_press.html). They have a couple of entries in the last few days describing the boat. Its a solar/diesel electric hybrid catamaran setup.

I've been corresponding with Walter some on their choice of boat, etc. They are really looking forward to it.

I missed that! Glad to hear they are enjoying the live-aboard life but sorry to hear Leah Gent's up for sale again, somebody will be getting a great boat...
