Emma Maersk

Anybody else surprised with how graceful and pretty a boat this size is? I think part of it is that the pictures show it with no containers, so it looks lower and sleeker, but still... not the "fat" look I expected from the description of the beam.

I agree Bruce, maybe also because its so high out of the water that we can see the bulb at the bow and the prop and rudder aft.

 I would imagine a head-on shot while underway with a full and heavy load would give you your original conception -- VERY wide load pushing aside a large swath of ocean...

I'd love to see more on ships on the site.
