What are the best weather texts and reference sources for a boater? And if you can only have one weather book aboard, which would you choose and why? Is it available as a PDF download?
As for weather references...especially for day-trips on the open waters...I recommend NWS local forecasts and the NCEP Ocean Prediction Center's suite of products.  Â
