Eileen Quinn's Music Feeds The Soul and Tickles The Funnybone

Sometimes you just want music that speaks to you about your passion – like boating. Think folk-style music about why weather forecasters are not to be trusted, why anchoring can fracture a marriage, and how friends may be the greatest byproduct of boating.

Eileen QuinnEileen Quinn

Eileen Quinn, a Canadian singer has been cruising full-time with her husband since they left Toronto in 1994 on their 36-foot sailboat, Little Gidding. In the intervening years, the two have cruised up and down the Eastern seaboard and throughout the Caribbean.

Quinn calls her sound "bluewater music," and she performs where she cruises – from local beach bars to international regattas in the Caribbean, to boat shows and events for national boating associations in North America. Since 1997 she has released five CDs: No Significant Features, Degrees of Deviation, Mean Low Water, Not To Be Used For Navigation and Miss Inclined.

Hear audio clips from any of Quinn's recordings and order CDs for yourself and your friends at CD Baby. Soon you'll be cruising and listening to songs like "Working On My Boat," "Don't Make Me Dock," "Come Back Dinghy," "Gotta Regatta," and "If I Killed The Captain."
