Check Out FishWatch

FishWatch, a program sponsored by NOAA, helps seafood lovers make healthy and "green" choices in what they eat.

The initiative is designed to help you identify the status of fish stocks throughout the country, and understand the management and science required to keep fish populations teeming.

FishWatch provides consumers relevant, factual data to assist in decisions about sustainable seafood.

The Web site tells seafood lovers what seafood is in danger of overfishing, whether your fishmonger is really selling what he says he is, how NOAA scientists are working to keep fisheries sustainable and much more.

You can click on information about hundreds of fish species, and even get recipes.

Check it out at http://www.nmfs.noaa.gov/fishwatch/.
