BoatUS is looking for clubs and businesses interested in become children's life jacket loaners.
The program, launched in 1997, offers jackets of various sizes to boaters through marinas, bait shops, fuel docks and boat clubs.
Over 90,000 life jackets are loaned out each year through the program and at least three children's lives have been saved as a direct results.
There is no cost to become a loaner site. Over 350 clubs and business now participate.
The loaner life jacket kit consists of 12 life jackets in a protective container, signage and easy-to-use signout sheets to track usage. Various sizes of jackets are included.
