Max and Blaine Parks have cruised the world with their two Golden retrievers — and learned a lot about traveling with pets along the way.

"With two Golden Retrievers aboard, our major concern for each anchorage area is whether or not we will have a place to take the dogs ashore. We use our cruising guides extensively to get recommendations on dinghy docks and other landings where we can take the dinghy ashore," they write.

The duo has done a lot of the legwork for you. They have compiled a list of places they've found to be good for anchoring with dogs — from Nova Scotia to the Bahamas.
