As the weather gets colder, the boat show season is heating up, with some of the country’s largest shows scheduled to take place in the next month.

In Annapolis – a show that takes place in two parts – the sail show is scheduled Oct. 9 to 13 and the power show will take place Oct. 16 to 19.

In Fort Lauderdale, a show that attracts many larger boats, the show will start Oct. 30 and end Nov. 3. And the granddaddy of them all, the Miami Boat Show, is scheduled Feb. 12 to 16.
